1. Question:
I own a GM Vietnam car. When I go on a business trip my car tire is broken. I don’t know how much does the tire pressure weight?
Answer:
All GM Vietnam’s 05 seat passenger car use tubeless tire. The tire pressure used in accordance with the producer’s pressure standard is very necessary because this affects on tire durability.

2. Question:
I am driving on the way. Why does this phenomenon happen?
Answer:
When you are on the way, the hand on coolant speedometer lies on red area, please stop your car on the roadside and release Hood panel. The car engine may be too hot therefore you can check by seeing in the following cases:
- You can see whether your surge tank is dry or not. If you find it dry, you should wait for it to become cold and supply it with more water as regulated and then start again.
- In case the radiator doesn’t operate and make temperature gauge high. You can check fuse of radiator system. If the fuse is broken you can replace another one with the same technical specification.
- You should start the car until the engine is cool.
- If your car doesn’t meet one of the above mentioned phenomenons, pls. take your car to the nearest GM Vietnam service center for car check.
3. Question:
When I am on the road, I find battery lamp give a light?
Answer:
Normally, the battery lamp is off when your car is in operation. In case your car is operating but the battery is light you should check the battery charge system. You stop the car on the road side and release the hood panel and check whether the V- belt alternator is slack or not and then check the fuse of the charge system to find it
4. Question:
When my car is on the street, the oil pressure lamp is light, how can I check?
Answer:
The oil pressure lamp is light when the engine is operating. This shows that the oil pressure is lower than standard rate. Pls. stop the car and check oil rate by pulling out oil level gauge stick to clean. If you find oil level too dry you can fill more until regulated level. In case the oil level is normal, pls. bring your car to GM Vietnam A/S center for checking.
5. Question: When my car is on the way, the engine lamp gives a light?
Answer: The engine lamp gives a light when electric key is in the “on” position. This lamp will turn off when the engine starts. If the car’s engine lamp gives a light during operation it means your car has problem. The electric system changes into emergency status and the engine continues to operate. Pls. bring your car to GM Vietnam A/S Center for checking. If you let your car to continue to operate for a long time while the engine lamp still gives a light this may make waste system be broken and increase fuel consumption as well as decrease the engine capacity.
